Get up on 7036, windy ridge area, roads are good, views are great. Was up there last year with my old GS, no problems. I hear it's busy this year.
We try to go on weekdays.

Thanks for the recommendation. Great ride up there this afternoon, saw one other bike and a handful of cars/trucks at the far end heading back down towards 70. IMG_20200822_123347.jpg

Excuse the ignorance, but where is that exactly? I was poking around through the area Thursday and didn't see any such signs.

Hmm, that's what was thinking, and I was on it Thursday. Fun little road, must have missed the signs.

Excellent campsite drainage but seems a little too close to the road

I hauled my WR to Lake Kacheelus and did this last Saturday. Well, most of it, I turned around at Hwy 410 and didn't go into Greenwater. Lots of traffic near both ends, fairly quiet in the middle. Chatted with a couple of KTM riders when I stopped for a photo of Rainier. Beautiful day and not too smoky. Likely not much longer until this gets snowed out.

have you been up there lately? it gets PACKED. mostly during the weekends, but with the 'rona, its probably all week now. i was able to breeze thru it, but only because i was on the murdercycle
send them complaints to the out of towners that clog all your favorite places up now. I went upta around salmon la sac when i first got the T7. it was bonkers how many people were up there

I have and I am aware, that's why going earlier in the AM to get pass the pass is my choice - and return past 11 PM....
