I'm casually looking for a grist mill for mine, but it's fun just to watch it run while the empties pile up around your feet :lol3

You'll see it in the spring, it's right near the intersection of Beaver Dam Road and Joe Brown Highway.

Last ride of the year, it's been a slack one for any kind of mileage. A hundred miles of relaxation.

The colors came out nice today in spite of the overcast.

It's nice when you can find a hump high enough to see over the trees.

I had been working nights for a week and have been trying to get myself reoriented. Yesterday I started the annual service on the mower and got the deck cleaned up.

I did laundry, vacuumed and a few other chores this morning. I was planning to do sharpening, greasing, oil and filters on the mower after it warmed up a little today, but it was getting nice so I gave Sweet Brown a call.

The DR needed some exercise and I decided I did have time for that.

I found the settings less than optimal on my PC.

Mostly gone by then, we got seven or eight inches.

Common malady with the white tank. Even Simple Green won't take it off. You'll just have to think less of me. :lol3

Indeed, there was a break in what's been a lot of dreary weather this winter. Got in about 145 miles on the Wee; did the loop around Hanging Rock. Windy and a little chilly but very nice.

You can see Pilot Mountain in a couple spots when the leaves are off.

Decent weather and a day off, a rare combination.

Found some new side roads and some new sights, just wanderin' around.

Got into some nice ball bearings for a while, luckily it wasn't too deep.

Rode up Belcher Mt. Rd. to the top of the hill, it started getting windy and cold so I went back down below, I only had a mesh jacket and liner on.

Beautiful day, got in 175 miles before lunch.

Well, an unexpected trip to Maine last week and not for a good reason.

I did get out to ruminate and take a few pictures though.
