A quick 500k squirt for our first ride of freedom.
Three SE's and an RFR690.
My SE R
Shakedown ride went well on the new SE. 10 hours. 260 miles in the AZ desert. Rode part of the AZ BDR from Mammoth to Globe. Some gnarly spots. Bike needs jetting. HW.
By the way....Frank Z. at ZMW Adventures in Tucson built the bike. He did a great job. Highly recommend him. HW.
Some quality social distancing today,
Go Ben! Totally failed to give you a shout, me and Todd Lite did a 5 day tour of the Western Sierras ... pics coming
Finally got the first ride of the year in!
Got into some mud and then snow at 5600'.
Pretty impressed with the MotoZ Desert tire!
Sounds epic! I doubt I would have been able to join anyhow... I have a 2-year-old at home now and my wife is about 3 weeks away from delivering nOOb #2. I'm on a short leash! The fact that I got to go riding ALL DAY last Sunday was a small miracle.
Looking forward to your pics! Last time I was out there was Spring 2018; friggin gorgeous...
I am so jealous. Holland is flat. And I have 1x 5 yo, 1x 3 yo and 1x 9 month. Haven’t been riding for (really) 5 years.
But I have got the bikes waiting for me.
Or for the 2 boys when they turn 18 ;-)
Congrats Ben, glad to hear the family is growing.
The big Super Enduros are SUPER capable but can still occasionally be stopped
Rode to the ADV SLAP rally in Arkansas yesterday. 440mi round trip in 26 hours. Only took one bike pic.
800+ miles of roaming around the Western Slope of the Sierra Range ... packed up and loaded for the ride home.
Thanks for the invite! Dont forget the ride report
The effect the Super Enduro has on every man...even my non-riding (shirtless?) neighbor felt like an animal.
