We are going to need more lube
I haven't posted any photos in a while. Got in a few good rides this past summer, mainly the Kentucky Adventure Tour. Did around 700 miles with a couple of friends. Two 950SE's, a 690e, and a 350EXC. Ran a few of the "hard" sections on the 950 and had a good time but it was hot and "Hard 5" definitely made us work for it. One of these days I'll get a new computer and will edit some of the video we shot but for now....
And lastly, from the first afternoon, a nice rocky hill climb. Did it a couple of times on the 950 as we had to go to town and get parts for a friends bike. good fun..
@SpeedyR ... EPIC!
It was more intimidating that it looked. We scouted it and luckily it was pretty hot so none of us minded spending some time in the water. straight across it was much deeper, and there were some big rocks to avoid (that you couldn't really see), but it was just part of the fun of the KAT. Two huge thumbs up on the trip if anyone is looking for a challenge. The main loop would be awesome on a SE, and a decent amount of the "hard" trails can be done on the 950 as well.
Video of that creek crossing:
No filters, the sky was like that !!. my 950 SE with new Haan wheels.
^^^ Nice shots

Sweet looking SE
That’s a great soundtrack to your film! The SE makes such beautiful music. Any 790/890 owner who used to have a SE can’t hear that without regrets.
I recently purchased this ‘08 SE, I’m giving her a good freshen up; lots of mods already have been done, (2 into 1 Akro exhaust, Rottweiler intake, suspension, Baja Designs retina burning light kit with a 690 fairing, a CJ designs clutch cover with new shifter, brake pedal and pegs) I’m doing the complete water pump rebuild, Samco hoses, new clutch booster and discs, new Orange Venhill brake lines from AS3 up front and out back with new Galfer wave Rotors and pads and a rebuild on the rear caliper. Also replacing the clutch slave (Oberon) and the line with an Orange AS3 Venhill one. New Aluminum throttle tube and new Venhill throttle cables. Adding a few bling bits and some guards as well as I go along. I Still need to replace some fuel and Vacuum lines (filter and fuel pump too) I Plan on a valve check & adjust and a check on the cam chains . Gonna add New sprockets and chain as well. Bike ran fine but she’s 12 years old with 23k on the odo. Plastics need some TLC before I put the new graphics in but overall She’ll be much better and fresh for a flogging when I’m done throwing my time and money at her
@Chief Gunner , how in the heck is everything so clean? Was going to ask where in So Cal you are located for a possible SE group ride. Now I'm rethinking that as I'd be trying to figure out how to get my bike that clean the whole time.
Having a bit of a blizzard in southern Finland. Lots of cars stuck on the streets and the officials were asking people to avoid using their own cars if possible. I complied.
That escalated a bit.
