Don´t forget the great roads !!!!!!
Great pics!! Looks like you are def. enjoying the bike!
Probably not the right thread, but seeing as you all are looking here, has any one checked into puting a 950SM tank on a 950SE? that would add roughly a gallon to the capacity... Plus, you wouldn't have those seams between the tankl and plastic to pick up misc. weeds (huh dzrtracin???)...
Fuck this bike makes me horney... I gotta get one!
Ps: Why the hell would anyone super mo(re)tard a SE?
There's a thread in O/C about tanks and luggage where I mentioned that while at the Elko event someone said they had seen the SE w/ the SM tank- some else mentioned that the seat also needs to be changed- I don't know if any or all is fact, just passing along what I heard-
I don't get the motard thing myself, this is the most incrediable DIRT BIKE i have ever riden!
Hey you bastard, you never sent my your mailing address... check your PM...
What's happened to that gorgeous orange frame? :eek1 :eek1
yes, i have sold my totally black BMW 1200 GS !
I couldn't resist the orange disease.
I've bought a KTM 950 R superenduro.
(first female with a SE ????)
next week it's ready to ride. (akrapovic, handlebarrisers etc.)
sneak preview with my phone.
I can't wait....
So - are you going to change your "handle" from g-spot to something starting with "O" maybe? You have found nirvana...
Eye of the beholder I guess... the orange frame never did it for me.
who did you get the lighting setup through ?
I modify a Baja Designs Twin HID setup for the front...
The rear is from Signal Dynamics...
I've been using these for years... they're practically indestructable...
Any chance you could post some more detailed pics of your "BOB JOB"? Or maybe if you are close by, I could take a look in person?
Atta boy, Gerhard, air it out, front wheel up. Nice pics.
Hey Ken, I just happened to stumble across this pic, shame on you for forcing me to wear that hat and drink that fine swill! Man I bearly remember the dinner after that!
Powercell, can't wait to see the results of your "modifications". I assume you will be racing it in the Baja.
One question, though. Why not just take a 950 salvage engine and build your bike, rather then gut a new $13,000 machine? Not sure I understand the rationale.
By the way, the stock headlight throws a pretty powerful beam at night, once the height is adjusted.
