I hope that those that could got out for a ride this weekend. We rode around the Redfeather area. We took Prairie Divide road from Cherokee Park road. The climb was pretty icy. Only the 1200GS rider need some teamwork to get thru the worst spots. I wanted to ride 7 mile, but the guy on the KTM950 thought it might be a bit much for the big bike.

ARGGG Here we go again. I need to get to the back yard and move some things around in order to get the new toy home from the dealer. Well after today it looks like it aint happening this weekend. I might be able to get my ducks in a row some time in March. :lol3 Might sell the Husky this spring to make some room but really have not decided yet. 1.5 hour drive home tonight and looking forward to the same thing in the morning. Did I mention I hate snow. :baldy

I have the Wing packed and ready for a road trip....so you know it's not going to be melting anytime soon.
If the XR1200 was closer to my place Marc, I'd say store it here - I can squeeze one more in :D

She sure did not look preggy on the news last night. The blonde is about to burst though.

In the 35+ years that I've lived in Steamboat Springs, I've been able to ride "all 12 months of the year" ........ only 3 different years.

I'm talking about riding several hundred miles a month .......... not just getting the bike out and riding around the neighborhood to take a picture or something silly. But actually riding out to Maybell, Meeker, Baggs, Rifle, Kremmling to State Bridge, Dotsero via the Colorado River Road, etc.

Two of those 3 "complete years" .............. came during our last 2 dry, mild winters.
This year it's much more of a normal winter and I'm realizing just how fortunate I was over the last few winters.
I've only thought about riding ONE TIME this winter. After I looked at the thermometer, I changed my mind. :D

I've got a bike stashed in a storage unit in Little Rock, and every time that I've had some time off ........... the weather in the Ozarks was crappy.
I know, I know, "First World Problems". :lol3

But all of you folks that are out there getting a good dose of mid-winter throttle therapy ......................... I'm envious. :ricky
