I'm thinking fuel injection would be a big improvement over dual square bore quads.
This 928 piques my interest, I've seen other 'Stangs done similarly.
One week in, including a fly & drive of ~1400 miles, all I can say is: I LOVE THIS CAR (2011 328i auto with several M sport options, 36K miles as I accepted it). These will be the last I share of it here so as to not pollute this excellent thread.
928 Shooting Brake was Porsche's concept that eventually turned into 4dr Panamera some years later...
E90/1-2-3 is one of the last "ultimate driving machines" platforms. The successor F3X wasn't as good - good for you for finding a good E91 example!
I so badly wanted E91 335d (wagon body) w 6sp manual RWD but that wasn't ever going to happen from factory - sedan E90 and auto was all I could do which isn't what I wanted...
That Valiant looks pretty fishy.....
Comin at ya
A proper station wagon that does useful things
and its older grandfather with over 400K miles
You people & your SUVs......those are not & never will be station wagons. A station wagon is almost always an offshoot body of an existing sedan. Hatchbacks sorta fall into that category too.....& some (but not all) convertibles.
However...I do realise that the term SUV came about looooong after the first Range Rover..or Suburban...or.....etc (more truck based vehicle)
It appears that Land Rover is The Station Wagon - so it says in the brochure, front grill and rh rear... 4 wheel drive at that too!!
All others are not - they aren't labeled as "station wagon" thus don't qualify as such...
No you can't has one - EU only...
Nope, you can't has zis one either - also EU only...
What is it with BMW of NA, if you import it, they will come.
