When I was 15-16 I'd hitch from Seattle to Priest Lake (Idaho) with my water-ski to meet some ladies I'd met.....My mom had 6 of us kids. When I would get home my mom would say: " Where have you been all day?".....
That's the look your doggy is giving you, just like my mom...
This would be after a week or so...
Thanks for the great RR.....Too bad for the dates on my pics......

    Another great report Mike.

Nice to see all those Sea Furies lined up, though sadly (but probably wisely), the tendency in the US is to replaced the ferocious but complex Centaurus engines with somewhat more predictable Pratt & Whitney or Wright units.

So...... how did the interview go?

    :ear

"So, tell us about your previous experience and most recent history?" - "well, I just came back from riding a big pig all around California USA"

    :ricky

    Good luck!

Years from now you'll remember the ride to Reno, not so much the interview. :ricky

Not looking for a change, but got pointed to the job by a colleague.

It was an odd situation - very happy where I am (about to go from a three day week to two days), don't need the money and there would be a load of complications if I'd got it.

I just thought it sounded interesting, working for the UK Space Agency...:norton

Great report as always. Your excellent Colonies report made me buy a 1200GS. After a lot of KTMs in between I am now riding an 1150ADV too. Love it. Have to adjust the valves or so because it starts vibrating over 100km/h.

This is a Volvo PV544, 1960-1961. First car to get three point safety belts, on the nordic market.
    We just called them PV.

    Hi Kave :wave

Yep - spot on on the Volvo (as I would expect :D).

I really think the 1150 GS Adv is the pinnacle of the GS range... :-)

I'm old enough to remember those Volvos.

Unrelated, a few years back I'm going for lunch with a coworker I also happen to be dating. We're in her BMW 320i. A then new Volvo 850 Turbo pulls up beside us. I point out the new 850 to her. She says, "phffft, I have a vulva and he'll never have one of those."
