They be what we call trailer faggots
Once upon a time we used to ride our motorcycles to the D.B. start, and home again afterwards.
What do you mean once upon a time?
I'll be enjoying air-conditioning rather than wringing the neck of my little WR. Will save the neck wringing for the DB...
Yeah, I know there's still some who ride there and back, like y'self.
I was just having a little dig at the trailer trash who take their little bikes on trailers.
I can kinda understand trailering a skinny enduro bike the length of the country. Mind you we have been to rides where Rosie has ridden her 250 3x the distance some people have trailered their 650s to get to
You are undoubtedly a hero of some renown.
However, I don't give a flying fuck if you put your bike on a trailer.
Neither does Stretch:
Thats exactly what I'm doing with my WR
You might ride her there yet....
* Cue ominous music *
Hope it works out mate
I've got it strapped to the ute so I'll still not be riding it there .
Would still prefer you be there tho
Thanks mate, so would I .
You've got to ride to the Dusty, but not necessarily back.
Especially not if it's broked...
I did see a few broken ponies returning on the trailers...
Two DRs with luggage heading east through Karangahake Gorge this afternoon followed by an AT about a minute later.
A whole bunch of ADV bikes 690's, DR's, AT's coming out of Topp Valley, Marlborough, today, any of you miscreants among those?
I was on my Husky going in.
hands up if you were part of the (large) bike crowd social distancing at the whangamomona pub for lunch today
