    Saw a black DR650 and Triumph Scrambler in Oparau last saturday. And an RT Airhead heading towards Kawhia...his riding mate was on a Harley.

    Anyone on an oldish black beemer with a bright yellow headlight surround on Wharehine Road today? I passed you going the other way on the drz250, just ticking off the last of the Cape Reinga to Auckland route

    I see bikes going up and down SH1 all day...I'm usually checking what patch they are wearing. Today I see something different, a couple of Vincents, one a Black Prince. I don't think they will be on ADV though....

    It was my retired Dad and is two retired mates...... just been up the top of the north for a Vincent Owners Club riders rally, 2600km for a few old fella's in 5days isn't so bad.

    Yes, there was a totally boring 3rd bike as well. I love that Vincent owners still use their bikes, good on them !

    shout out to all the Africa Twins, RXXX beamers, KTM's etc etc I spotted over the last week on the boat and as far down as Hanmer.... I was in the car :(

    the south is where its at, it was torture driving and seeing so many bikes doin it....even found myself being jealous of a couple of guys on GS1200's riding in 33c through St Arnaud :fpalm

    Sunday just gone, a chap on an orange 990 Adventure fuelled in Murchison as I did on the VFR, and then headed out on my tail down the Buller towards the Coast. Later, I pulled out of the Reefton Mobil on his tail, and we rode together until he turned off at Maruia Saddle.

    Anyone on here?
