    For a second there I'd forgotten that you rode your K-Bike to BV; I knew you had to have had more miles than that on the KLR by now. :thumb

    Yeah, I did the upgrade with the shorter bolts (no drill)... I think that kawasaki intended the bolts to shear to protect the subframe :lol3

    Nice, I'm doing stoppies all over town, NOT :lol3

    It works a lot better, that with the stainless line, progessive forks, etc. Really like the way the bike handles now. Would like to try it without the 300 lbs of gear... but soon enough.

    Already have several with the lock hasp modification.

    I'm thinking he used the Happy Trails Panier and then just bolted them on with wing nuts. I know they seemed to work real good :nod

    I wish they made a custom fit for my Baghira. I may have to just order what they have and then customize them myself. :wink:

    HappyTrails SU rack has threaded holes at top. So top attachment there. Angle Iron at bottom with quick release pin...

    2005.5 KLR was available in Rose (they don't call it pink). Only 600 made :augie
