Glancing back through this to see if it is safe to share with new women I am dating... the foreshadowing in these photos is delicious :lol3 I think my KLR was trying to warn me :deal

still haven't decided if it is safe to share. :scratch

Maybe put the link in my eharmony profile and do the major sorting before hand :lol3

Part of your DNA now. Still though, not a bad idea to be tactical. My .02: You'll want someone to ask you about it before giving it up. Putting it out there unsolicited may seem a bit presumptuous. (or nutty.) Chicks dig the dude with the bike though, if memories of college serve. Man, good luck with that.

WOW. I don't know where I was when all this was being posted originally. It took me three sittings to get through all of it. Fantastic journey ~ both the motorcycling and the personal. Thanks for sharing. :bow

I'll never forget this report. It's one of the best. Sure, put it in your profile, do some pre-sorting.:lol3

But I'd use this one for your mugshot. It looks a little better.

Thanks for the fantastic report. Riding on 12 in Utah feels at times like being on the edge of the world almost ready to tip off.

    Jay:

This was the best ride report that I have ever read. It took me over a week to read it. You need to think about writing a book. This was so well put together. How you tracked where you were over 45 plus days, all the way down to fuel milage.

I remember meeting you at Chain's Farm a while back and after that report you are a ADV Rider God. I recently purchased Runner's (Joe Hart) 2006 KLR 650 back in June and love the bike. It doesn't do a lot of things great but it sure seems to be the perfect bike for what you did and what I like to do.

    Jay,

So you're they guy that Carl down at Village Cycle was talking about...

I just made it through the whole thread in two l o n g sittings. What a ride man! Thanks for putting Mississippi on the ADV map!

Keep your eyes peeled for the n00b on the silver/blue weestrom riding around campus. I think I saw you a few weeks/months ago on the KLR. PM me if you ever need some company on a much shorter ride. MrsJMB374 is still getting used to the whole bike thing :deal.

I just re-read this report from end to end, and it's still in the top three for me. Here's a bump for those who are new and want to read what an Adventure Ride Report is all about!
You da man, Jay, no matter what Roger says about you. :clap

That was a well-reported epic journey.

I spend so much time in Jomomma, that whenever I make the journey to RRs that there is another Pulitzer candidate on the 1st page.
