Your map seems to imply you are spending a lot of time on BC 97. That was paved when I went through there in July. How'd you get so dirty?

'mostro & DataDaddy headed up to North Canol Road today to the edge of the Northwest Territory. Tent camping for them. Off & on showers here in Whitehorse.

I offered to do laundry for them, but it's still sitting by my chair. Guess I should get on it.

    Hey Guys,

While you're in Dawson, it behooves you to meet Dick Van Nostrand at the Downtown Hotel. He's a GS rider, hardcore Pterodactyl and GrĂ¼ver, and generally a Hardass role model who always makes you laugh and appreciate why you're in this world (see also: my signature). He and Joanne do a tremendous job of hosting the Dust2Dawson in June, and are motorcycle friendly.

Tell him hi, and be kind to their staff.

If you're up for a 50-75 mile mining road loop, head up Bonanza Creek road past Gold Dredge #4, then keep going to King Solomon's Dome and return to the Klondike Hwy via Hunker Creek Road. Either direction works. You have the option of doing the longer loop, but you'll have a pretty fun ride w/ the shorter one. Ask Dick for the map and route suggestions.

See y'all in FAI on Sunday night! :beer

Great ride report. Keep it coming. Couldnt help but notice the starkville, ms location. I am there now in Strange Brew listening to all the LAH (loud ass harleys) headed to little Sturgis, and reading your ride report.

Are you moving up Nawth? Whats the deal? Also I noted the term "necropsy" in your report referring the the plastic elk. That term is unique to the veterinary community. Are you associated with the MSU vet school?
