They look really nice ... kinda like a Disco knock off
That's the kind of boot I was looking for. Except Sidi anything is $500+ in Canada and since I'm mostly just putt-putting around on my 250's these days, probably overkill. These should do the trick.
I also own a pair and agree with all the above.
They're made by Joe Rocket. They have the little rocket on the strap. I would've paid 30 bucks for those. Ya done good.
I tried looking back at the thread, but it's a lot of old content. Are there any boots out there that works as dress boots for an office setting? Preferably finance formal/suit style/etc. Closest I've found are these Stylemartin Oxfords, but I'm just not a fan of the fancy lines. I like the profile and all, just not the detail stitching. Anything like those with cap toes?
I've admired stylemartins boots from on-line adds and posts, I finally got to see them in person. Junk, the leather is cheap, like Dr. Martins split grain with a kind of weird embossed leather cover, and the distressed look these boots had, it's painted or printed on. Totally disappointed, especially given the price point.
Thank god, I wanted a real reason out of the toe styling
