Sitting in Qatar airport on my way to ride in Europe and Morocco.

My pal put this together after our Icelandic exped in last years ride. Too good a production to bury in a RR so posted here! Obviously sponsored, but I’m in it, look for banana man! (two up with @Wild Ginger).

Fun times! I hope you enjoy and big thanks to Lal Pavey for the time and effort he put into make this film.

Awesome video - and what fantastic scenery! Thanks for posting. Curious if you have the tracks your rode, so that I might store them in my Iceland library? Hoping to give it a go in the next year or two...

There’s a fair number of big water crossings on the F-roads so be sure to take a friend to ride with. Always enter on upstream edge as some of those crossings are scalloped our by 4wd and are deep!

Wow, that was incredible. Excellent production - makes me want to jump on the next plane to Iceland and book a bike rental.

Any idea what drone was used for most of the footage? I saw a Mavic Mini pulled out (I think) at one point. Whoever flew that drone to capture the riding footage has great skill, been trying to do that for a few years with a couple different Mavics now.

What a fantastic trip and amazing place to ride & explore.

Thanks for posting - producer deserves props for the flow and content in that vid, think I'll watch it again with my boys.

I would love to take a trip like this. I have plenty of vacation time and no one to go with............where does one start when looking into going overseas like this?

Thanks, the videographer was Lal Pavey (son of Simon) and ex father son Dakar team racer. He only had that one drone with him. He runs the YouTube mag Brake Magazine and his dad now runs ORS the BMW training school in Wales. Super nice people.

So glad you enjoyed the film.

Check out Chris’ site Explore 360 (https://explore360.nu/) a super professional outfit and they do rides in many cool spots! Several years worth of vacations!! Not my business and I was VERY impressed with their professionalism. We “treated” our selves to two weeks supported and guided touring as part of a much bigger trip last year. Take your own bike or rent one!

I bought a bike in the US a few years ago and have spent the time since then riding several months a year which has been awesome.

Heading off to Morocco tomorrow. (Currently in the UK where the bike over wintered).

My advice would be do it without over thinking it and pack super light!
