Leaving Monday the 25th from Boulder, CO, gonna jump on the northern section of the COBDR, meander across Wyoming, and make our way to the Southern start of the Idaho BDR. Wondering if anyone knows how things are looking further north (snow, downed trees, etc)? Generally prepared for everything, but figure getting some up to date beta never hurts!

And if there are any must see or do spots along the route, feel free to chime in! Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey Steve, we are also doing the IDBDR this summer. It seems most of the discussion is happening in this thread. The www.ridebdr.com website also has some up to date info. Currently section 2 has a reroute.

You might run into some snow in the higher elevations.

Planning on the ride in 2021 Good Lord Willing. At 70 some things cannot be taken for granted. From the group experience when is the best time to go on this BDR. July on here in NM usually entails some serious mud. Thanks in advance.

Looking at some of the passes and yesterdays weather, looks like some more snow fell up there yesterday! I am about tired of 2020.
