Great pics @Ron50
Can't get enough of that area, Adam: I'm taking the R100GSPD to the Blue Duck for the airheads do on the 19th.
Might take it a bit easier on the logs this time.
BTW, the name of the pub at Anglers Rest comes from the diggers term for a worthless mine rather than a New Zealand or cold bird.
Not quite that simple from a photo, who can identify all these blokes?
This guy got run over by a car and was in a pretty bad mood at the front door with the kids and missus inside so I couldn’t really just shoo him away.
Yep, all are eastern browns. Snake identification is not as easy as most people think, particularly when it comes to browns and copperheads. It usually involves counting scales, looking at anal plates and head scales. Usually when I'm trying to identify them the head is pretty mangled and it becomes almost impossible.
I am sorry, but I am not going to count the scales around its anal area to try and identify it. If reversing back over it could identify it that's the only way I would do so.
Fraid I'm with you. The only good viper or elapid is a dead un.
Cheers Tom R
Snake in a can anyone?
Two hours into the day & this stuff settled on us.
(I shouldn't complain as I'm still getting paid while we wait for this to lift)

And not a loooong way from Mr Ward, as the Cessna flies....
Georgiana Park. On Mr Croft’s ...ahem....BMW!
I did consider that as it has the only other rock groin along the south coast.
