What year? I'll guess 58.
2 cars have 1958 on them so presume thats the year
Bottom one 1955
Made the VW Beetle famous in Australia, won all 3 yrs it was held, notably won by Eddie Perkins(Larry's father) in 56 and 58 in a 1200 VW Beetle.
Funnily enough my mother was part of the RedX rally in 1953/54, she relayed messages from Wave Hill to Sydney for the Journalists covering the event, Obo George was her callsign

Harvester showroom, Katanning. That's first time I've seen a harvester inside a showroom.

Did well as a rally car.
I rode it before they closed it. It was brilliant. Locked gates both ends now and a surveillance camera sign up.
Common weekend ride for my crew back in the mid 70s! It was a stunning run!
You can go in on Wambat Hill Lookout Trail, walk up 200m to the pass.
