1. Hey everyone, We’re going to start a weekly email to surface interesting threads in the forums. No worries, you can easily unsubscribe if you don’t find it interesting. If you’re like me, it’s nice to have someone willing to poke around a big community like ours and find the most interesting stuff. Saves time and I hate missing something great. It worked really well when we had someone discovering the best photos for the home page rotation back in the day. And if you have something fascinating to post, maybe this email does everyone some good by getting it noticed. Let us know what you think when you get it. Your feedback will make it better as we go (thread). Thanks! Baldy & rudy1220

Hey mate , planning the next one already
she was pretty hot and rocky out there that day , so the only sensible thing to do was to fang it to the nearest watering hole! Ahh ....those grids were just beautifully graded for launching!! Just have to go back to see those rock hoppers.

Not too many other places in this world we live in you can stay in a Motel underground , carved out of the rock to create a habitable environment for travellers .

I've done it twice by 4x4 in the wet. The last time spent 4 days between Ceduna and Tarcoola. I cycled across Googs lake, had a late evening thunder storm and the next day the lake was covered in water. Cycled around the mount too, never seen so many stars at night toward every horizon there.
I was going north, nearing the rail line a group of XR's were heading south with a backup vehicle

The stone walled structure in the middle of this pic is the remains of a shelter/fort built by some of the Batavia wreck survivors.
