A bit higher and leafier
I have a long way to go. To catch up with the stunning photos of local Katy Morgan.
Shot location ..
Here be monsters on the Lue Road.
Looks like a chopper shot but I don't remember taking it from a chopper.
First guess, a little west of Conways Gap on the Wadbilliga Road on the hill in the big patch of scrub.
Second guess, top of Razorback Trail
Third guess, east from Big Badja - but I don't think the zoom on my humble little pocket camera is that good.
As it turns out, I was planning on a cruise on the GS down that way today so I'll have a better idea later.
At least I don't have to remember if I took a pic whilst on the bike or in the chopper!
i figured as much re chopper , but extra asl dont seem significant .. maybe top razorback...
trail is best ive ever seen historically atm..
dozer thru etc .. no treefalls to negotiate , tho lapse of concentration will c u meet your maker on decent / accent to the "gap"

grass long and green round kybean / countengany ... lookin good
So Bourkes Rd, Wadbilliga and Razorback are now open?
Still looks closed from the top
Also closed are the bridge to Bodalla at Nerrigundah, the Dry Creek crossing to the Araluen Road, and the northern end of Araluen Road to Majors Creek.
The good news is that the mystery is solved; the bad news is that it's not Wadbilliga Mountain.
This is what it looked like today from Big Badja trig
I'm not positive but I think it is called Euranbene Mountain. The Shoalhaven starts on its north-east slope.
Snow on the Main Range still visible from Badja
The track to Big Badja is clear now
Even the swamps burnt
Woila Creek ford
I'm surprised that his burnt car and trailer have just been left beside the road.
Wandella Road ford
A little official Bowdlerisation I suspect
Belowra Road looking south-west
Today's simulacra on a slow section of Araluen Road
Araluen Road, Merricumbene
That’s the one ..
