WP Demon or Tempo Ultra SC will take care of your scorpions and spiders. Both available at Ace Hardare or Amazon. Not very practical for adventure riders.
Hope your hand is back to normal by now Ed.

We went out and had a nice dinner in the little village of Rose. She even paid
    [IMG]

Then the next day, we hopped in her Mercedes and explored some of the more remote beaches on the peninsula. The roads were steep and rocky.

    The water is absolute gorgeous

Rose was an old military base for former Yugoslavia
This was an old submarine dock inside a cave

Thanks were going well, but if she kicked me out, there were a lot of abandoned buildings to sleep in.
This one I particularly liked - right on the water

When a woman invites you (a complete stranger) into her home, you would have to be an idiot not to be on your best behavior.

I got this super nice message yesterday from the woman with the babysitter and 2 adorable girls. I thought I would share it in case you all think i am anything but a gentleman.

[8/29] I was telling one of my best girlfriends about you tonight. And how I made a friend for life.
I know you meet people all the time...strangers if you will. I def make friends pretty easy, but not the way we did. You really are a special person. You never pressured me and I never felt threatened. At a time that I feel so sad and lonely, I think of you and how it was meant to be that you came into my life exactly when you did. And it helps me to remember to contain my fucking sobbing and be grateful for all of the fortunes that I didn’t earn, but have been blessed to be graced with. Friends for life indeed.

At that moment, she didn't need another jerk in her life......Good karma is on my side

There is so much corruption in the Balkans.
Check out this mansion. The house up on the hill is for the guest.
It is own by one of Slobodan Milošević's former cabinet members who helped steal money from Yugoslavia and bring it into off shore accounts.
He spent 10 years in prison but eveidently not all the money was returned. And of course, this is not his only house.
There is not piped water to this quiet part of the peninsula, so it has to be trucked in. It is said, that 20 trucks a day come to deliver water for the landscaping.
And the guy wasn't even here.
The house on the hill is owned by Russian mob and the house around the corner is owned by some other shady dude

American makes a big deal out of this "Epstein conspiracy".......and the rest of the world just moves on with their own lives
Corruption is just part of every day life and there is nothing that can be done

See that white house in the back ground? It is owned by the former ambassador of Yugoslavia to Argentina. And he is neighbors to the mansion I just spoke of

He invited me over to share the best wine made in Montenegro. It was pretty good too.
But the conversation was what I will remember most. He was legit and a cool guy.

This morning I was telling my wife that I'd rather be reading ride reports than watching TV or a movie. So much more interesting. I haven't read 77's other RRs but I certainly will now! Can't make this stuff up!

I was there the same time the Beckham's where there unfortunately, no way to even look at the beach on the right hand side. To go the island was only by invitation. I enjoyed the country, the food, the people and the history. My son was 3 years old and empty beach on the right hand side with soft sand, Securitas "removed" him from the beach. Securitas some type of mafia....they are is most countries I have been. The professionals working for them at Sveti Stefan I hope you have children with ADHD.
