Good morning all, trying to find out any riders in Japan, starting my trip from Japan then heading north and up into Russia, ROB, Mongolia, Stans etc.

Any local advice etc would be welcome, anyone wanting to ride north and do the trip would also be on.

I am on a WR250R, plan to be on the road around 6-7 months.

    Cheers And

I'm a Murican in Yokosuka Japan. Been here almost 3 years. Good for tools and maybe a bed if you need one. All of my riding here in Japan has been on the paved roads. Lots of good twisties around and lots of interesting things to see. Obviously some excellent food to be eaten as well. Might be interested in joining the Japan portion of your shenanigans, schedule permitting.

I'll bump this up, and invite others as well.

Canadian/French couple leaving Paris in late May 2019 for the ROB, Mongolia and eventually landing in Japan (say September?). Riding a pair of WR250r s.

Would be great to cross paths with other bikers or connect with our Japanese dwellers for drinks, ideas and rides.

    +1 for gaijinriders.
Me and my KTM 1190 live in Osaka. Lots of good roads in west Japan.
PM and hi when you arrive!

    Heya Fellas

Ok, been a few changes to the beginning of the trip, logistically it was difficult taking the bike into Japan from New Zealand, so this trip I won't include Japan.

We will come to Japan and it will be with my wife Ellen so not all is lost and next year we will be there. We will organise to get a bike in Japan and spend a decent amount of time there.

My trip now starts in Korea, bike leaves tomorrow (10/04/2019).

Thanks for the correspondence and will keep in touch for next year.

    Cheers Andi
