Here it is again.
Another campout in the fabulous foothills of the Sierra Nevada. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

    Where:
    <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park Campground
    <st1:address w:st="on"><st1:Street w:st="on">14881 Pine Grove-Volcano Road</st1:Street>
Pine Grove, CA <st1:postalCode w:st="on">95665</st1:postalCode></st1:address> (east of Jackson on Hwy 88)

    When:
October 10-12 (in case you didn’t catch it in the title)
The following Monday is Columbus day. Oh the irony.
It’s a little late in the season but perhaps we’ll catch some Indian summer. More irony.

    (Foothill Follies)
    (Same thing but different)

Here’s the deal. It’s a small and cozy campground that doesn’t take reservations. There are showers (bring quarters) and flush toilets. There are good roads for day rides near by, both paved and the not so paved.

This will be a BYOE (Bring your own everything) event. It’s up to you to pay for your campsite, bring your own food and booze, and entertain yourself. You want a sticker, have one made. You want a T-Shirt, stop at WallMart. You want morning coffee, get over to Starbucks. I will commit to bringing wood for the community fire. If you’re trucking your bike in and want to add to it that would be great. If you want to pass a few $$$ my way for wood I’d appreciate it. I don’t have a stash of fire wood so I’ll have to buy it.

If you want to PM me that you’re coming or just chime in here in the thread I’ll keep an in list.

Now really, what's better: a cushy cruise through warm azure Caribbean seas, or standing in the rain with a buncha drunken fools talking about motorcycles?

    Enjoy the trip......................:lol3

    :jump

Three years ago I missed out on a diving trip to Bonaire with Mrs MB, so that I could ride my GS across Kansas :lol3

Mike, I just about gave up on this - or figured you'd taken it to the invitation only status. :uhoh

I wanted to go to Same Old Thing But Different But Not last year and had to bail. Looks like fun!

Standing in the rain, talkin' motorcycles - what's not to like? :dunno

If MaddBrit's there, we'll get him to recite the Bill of Rights to us - in his PJ's. :pot

I would figured with all of your water experience that rain wouldn't be an issue.:photog The DR will be much more fun to slide around on wet pavement anyhow.:evil
