    Thank you AR.

Those were just achingly beautiful pictures in the slide show. I felt I could reach out and touch the rocks and the sky at the same time. (I think I just found more images to use as wallpaper on my office PC.)

You got that right buddy, I am in for that :clap

Let me check with Chinese Officials if I could get the Permits as Indians are not allowed to enter Chinese Tibet. I need to check it once, would let you know ... If I get it, I am in for the Tour one way or the other ;)

    Regards,
Always your same old buddy ;)

I've been to many countries in my lifetime but I have to say that this is some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen. Thanks a million for sharing with us. I hate that it's over but I am seriously inspired.

    Hi mates
I am expat on that road in 2004
Done all, all alone, same route till Spiti and back.
For going to Tibet this way from point you are talking about is a restricted entry and is not open to indians or for that matter to anyone..
THe people who manage this section(ITBP) are of the most difficult ones to talk to when it comes in terms of being in their region. Experienced it myself
    for the third time.
This section of the road is only for these ITBP security people who go further 10kms on the same road after the last Checkpost and then there is a post managing the border. This information comes from a ITBP security personnel who became friend and told me, this isnt the last road point but thats another 10kms further. Unaccessible to any kind of crowd.

CheerS to you all.. Nice going
    Welcome to IndyeeaaH..

My dear friend, I am aware of the same. I do know the harsh reality that we Indians are not allowed to visit. Have already confirmed the same with the officials. Infact, I am not sure even if our friends from Poland would be allowed to enter.

@Sambor: You need to check soon dear or we do a tour of South Africa as planed earlier.
