    Gimmeslack: weeds were almost everywhere below 3000 meters. We tried to burn everything but it was impossible. So I hope you boys will go and finish this work.

    Chanderjeet: We started in August. About 21 days. We were pretty fast on our bikes in Himalaya, but stopped so many times to make a picture for you that every Enfield was 2x faster. We took 7000 pics and throw away 6500 pictures made me crazy.

    Your central asia thread tells me that you guys didnt end there. You continued through the Karakoram Highway or the silk route.

    i could remember a lot of pics were similar to mine, taken on my enfield trip from delhi to innsbruck... in india i followed nearly the same route as you did...
    incredible india! ...and experiencing it by motorbike makes it much more fantastic...

    Normaly a lurker. Just found this thread. I lived and rode in europe for 14 years, (yes, Poland also, loved it.) I thought I had traveled. (some times in North Africa also). You Guys make me feel like I just went around the block. Well Done. :clap

    Took a while to find your pictures. Remember - we were the Singaporeans riding the Enfield - we met you guys outside Lamarayu. We bumped into each other again in Paharaj Ganj in Delhi.

    Guys, this trip is absolutely fantastic. You've wasted so many hours of my work just re-reading and re-reading this thread, its brilliant.

    I now want an Africa Twin and my dream is to travel around the Himalayas in a years time if I have the funds. :freaky
