how about an escalator for KLR's unable to climb the hills.
LOL..... if you get a smoking bench,I get a hot dog and beer stand
and bones has to serve the dogs n beer.... since we have to push him thru the trails on that heavy ass klr!
on second thought..... scratch that, he drinks that rut gut fuckin pbr. :huh
Those are called natural obsticals (SP) ....
Now, I know we each have our opinions about quad riders and I've seen the 1% of those and the damage they do.
Yet, I've also seen the 1% of the MC do damage as well.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a quad huger or hater...
Yet, get to know them and what their needs are and you'll find they have some of the same issues we have with their 1%'s (4x4) as we do with theirs...
Can't we all just play nice in the sand box...
Ok, I'm off my soap box...
Thanks again for the great response(s).
Sorry, can't help with the smoking benches, hand rails, escalators, or vendors....
I invite any one of you guys to show me how its done on a KLR through that trail.
I'm gonna try and ride down and help out. I've got a breakfast in the morning and I have to be in Bloomington by 4. Probably around noonish if you guys will still be at it.
Oh, PBR is god's gift to man!
I bow to your KLR prowess.
Take it from me and RoadDad, that KLR can go places you can't imagine and keep going....
I got both MC and quads.
I will never go on a MC only trail with the quad and hate the quads that just tear up the trail for the hell of it.
Don't know why they just sit in a hole and gun it and spin all the way thru.
When we were at Interlake, I hit a horse and MC trail and it was so tore up I couldn't even get the bike thru and had to turn around after I tore off the taillamp.
And just for that reason I don't know why the state is dragging there feet on getting Interlake setup like Redbird, before it gets destroyed and shut down.
As far as I know it is still a free for all down there.
that klr will go through there, u just need a little more practice.
im going to try to make it and help out, i enjoyed the videos and wished i could have made the last ride.
It was when I was down there with RK.
People riding with no helmets, 2 & 3 up on quads. Just out of control down there.
if it were dry, we could get our klr's thru that trail.... and you could too. but since we have smaller bikes (for that reason), whats the point.
cheater bikes unite!!
Interlake is where Redbird was 5yrs ago, yet Interlake is a multi-use park, meaning the non-for-profit is having a hard time getting everyone in line and on the same page.
If you're interested in helping Interlake move, call the DNR and ask what you can do to help.
I know they love hearing from me....LOL....
Now, tpar.... I now have the cheater bike....Some call it my segway...
A 450 with an auto-clutch.....
I LOVE IT TOO
No question there, it'll be a good time next Saturday.
Soon I will join the cheater bike club...very soon hopefully. I think I might have to actually drive down for this....sucks.
Looking to sell the DRZ if anyone wants a "cheater bike"
I'll be doing the same soon. I want a cheater KTM.
You take food stamps?
