Damn, you guys have been busy today
Nice tag. The main reason I keep coming back to this thread is to see the interesting things and places people tag.
3 tags in 1 day has got to be a record!
Yeah, whomever grabs the tag take 30 minutes and check out some of the buildings, grist mill lock, and the Duck Creek aqueduct. It’s the only surviving covered aqueduct that’s still operational.
If ya come in from the west the bridge by 229 has a massive bald eagle nest just north up the river.
Eating lunch at the Martindale house.
Please ignore tag, ended up going back north along instead of South. I don't want to drag it up here again.
I think this is still up for grabs. Tagged, metamora IN.
Well, crap. I thought that tag was long gone or I would have nabbed it days ago. I even went right by it last week and said to myself "Already been claimed!".
New tag. Check out the river while your here.
Will go get the new one Tom it’s even closer to you lol
Sorry for the confusion.
the best Trout fishing spot I know about. The trout gather between the spillway and the Whitewater.
No luck today. I was there too late, too much sun. No waders.
Just like the sign says.... Brookville Town Park, in Brookville IN.
I gotta be honest... I have family in Brookville. I have come in and out of Brookville my entire life. Grandparents lived on farms on the outskirts of Brookville, aunts/uncles/cousins [still today] live IN Brookville, and yet.... I had no idea this park was there. I mean, I knew the American Legion was there, and I knew there was a park, but I thought it just consisted of a play set next to the American Legion. I've never ventured back that way.
New tag picture didn't load for me but the old tag did
It's a no-restriction, open-to-the-public image, but I realize that doesn't always mean that it'll work for everyone 100% of the time. Hehe... I've now switched it to an ADV-hosted image. Exact same image, just getting it here from ADVRider now.
another lil treasure is Tecumseh Landing..... the long stretch of gravel beach behind the dollar store. So tucked back in there it took me a long time to even notice the old white building and some information about the sites history.
