Thanks! We'll have to get together and ride if/when I make the move.
Can anyone share some thoughts or pros/cons on these three off-road riding areas? I’ve been to Haspen Acres once and it was fun but I was on the wrong bike to really enjoy it.
Adam’s Motorsports. He’s racetec certified.
Come ride the Buffaloe 500 Dual Sport Sept 28 & 29. It’s out of Stoney Lonesome MC near Columbus, Indiana. Many private properties of single track you can only ride during the Buffaloe.
There is a dual sport route each day and an adventure route each day.
only ridden badlands and haspin once each..
badlands was alotta sand. they also allow rails and jeeps in there. i like singletrack so just wasn't what i wanted.
haspin is... or was a free for all. nothing marked folks doing whatever they wanted in any direction they wanted. i felt like i was gonna get hit no matter where i went.
it's been several years since i been to either place so maybe different now.
lcrp used to be my go to as it was close and usually had the place to myself. also had a 6 mile singletrack loop that covered the property. nothing hard. but when they hosted a gncc event couple years ago.... it destroyed they place. really is unfortunate as i liked it there.
i would say make the trip to redbird. it is bigger and has marked trails. even though they allow anything up to trucks to ride there, there is enough designated singletrack to keep ya busy all day. and the stuff on south side of road can give ya a workout.
or.... get an invite from tyler and ride stoney.
Add Interlake to that list. It's been years since I've ridden Redbird, but from what I remember Interlake is similar. It has everything from Jeep trails, two track/quad trails to single track.
Had 4500 miles, they took one off of a 19 ,701 on the showroom.
Yup. Come ride Stoney sometime.
Bhart89, Baby Burr dual sport is coming up Sept 14th & 15th. Look it up on us dual sports dot com
come to motosupreme, its free and we gonna cut some gnarly tracks in fall
Got my XT and lovin' it so far. Ready for some Indiana exploring! Trail recommends welcome. I don't know the area that well yet.
Join us for the Buffaloe 500 ADV and Dual Sport Ride Sept 28 & 29 out of Stoney Lonesome near Columbus IN.

If you get a chance you should try to make it out to the Observed Trials this weekend just west of Bloomington on Stanford road off of 45 West, there are plenty of trails on the property and we have based some dual sport events from there. Some of my Checkers are dual sport riders too.
Gonna try to make it. Thanks!
The boy and I will be competing Sunday!
