R4S passed through the farm this weekend! So glad to see everyone! Hope the ride was awesome.
A Kentucky riding friend (not Brent) this past late Friday afternoon had a medical helicopter ride out of Union County river bottoms. He was riding by himself but it is said someone had seen it happened and came to his rescue. It is said he was going around 25-30 MPH just putting along. He has several cracked vertebra (which should heal 6-8 weeks) and a real bad concussion. Can only faintly remember a couple of blimps in those first few hours. The deer was killed, friends helmet destroyed, but his KTM350 escaped destruction (per his buddy who has the wrecker service).
I carry a Garmin Inreach just for those situations, but you know what? They are not worth a darn if your not conscious to activate it!
Full rally exhaust and high rpms always keeping them away!, all u see is white tails running back to the woods
So sorry to hear about your friend. Hopefully he is back on the bike again soon. I wonder why SPOT and Garmin haven't put accelerometers in their units already for such occasions. There are some smartphone apps that notify 911 if they detect a crash (abrupt stop). Unfortunately they only work in areas covered by cell service.
Tuesday dust fest in da woodz.
Found enough mud for some lowsides so it's all good lol.
Buffaloe 500 AMA National Dual Sport and ADV Rides Sept 26-27, 2020 Stoney Lonesome MC Columbus, IN thread is up.
ran across this round the world traveler on you tube and been watching some of her travels. this girl has done some traveling. she is from netherlands and found herself in peru when the rona hit. pretty interesting stuff..
I've watched all of her videos------------she's really interesting.
Since her Himilayan is trapped in Peru-------she just bought a 2015 Honda CB500X-------where she is at in the Netherlands it will be better suited for her doing mostly road riding. And she has short legs------so I heard
Me and a buddy just finished riding the Wyoming TAT---------it was awesome.
Sam has a S. Dakota version too.
Since I got bored with single track long ago--this stuff really suits my scenic passion.
Tuesday trail run! The WR450F is finally completely dialed in for the UPWR next month.
GOOD TIMES! SWMI
Short, but we're working on more.
with it getting so hot & humid
figured i'd better go find somewhere
just a little cooler to ride
Did you head to the Rockies Sarah?
not the Rockies...

edit: i think that's actually day 3...
(i sorta like this not knowing what day it is)
Chances may be the Sierra Nevada or Cascade Range????
Long time reader first time poster. Took the boy on his first ride to redbird an he loved it, had to borrow a bike but now looking to buy my own. Gonna try two stroke an looking at a KTM300EXC unless someone here has something they wanna unload. Like to stay around $2,500
this is sorta feeling like a guess game...
here's a few more from whatever days it was...
should be a good giveaway hint for you next cell service area
Still chugging that same ole yammie, good on you Sarah.
Sarah, I think you are getting very good at doing “photoshop material” out of the comfort of that Lake Lemon home of yours!
Does look like a good ride. You every think of asking any of us Hoosiers to go along with you on these rides of yours???
