Make that 20! I was a "public speaker" for ten years--I've had enough. Now I just listen.

I saw a black GS sitting at Vernal Pike last year. I live in "New Unionville" and ride to Crane most mornings. I have both a red GS and a Blue 650CSA and ride with red 'stich.

Born and raised near Kokomo and currntly living in Bangkok Thailand with my 1200Gs (red..the fastest one!). My wife and I will be "back home again in Indiana" in July and would like to do some riding while there.

Anyone know if I can rent a MC someplace.....Indianapolis, Chicago, etc. Doesn't have to be a BMW but something for 2 up and touring type not a all out sport/racing bike.

Let me know either on the forum or by e-mail <bmerrell@mozart.inet.co.th>

    Ya'all ride safe, now!!!

Per Mutineer's request, I am checking in as a Hoosier rider. I am in West Lafayette.

I have a 96 RT and a 2003 Kawa ZR7S so no dirt for me...yet. My wife has given me a 2 bike limit so I am selling the Kawa. I really started riding about a year ago and put about 18,000 miles on my bikes in the first year. None of it was 'quality' miles. I was mostly running between Indianapolis and Lafayette on either 65 or 52 several times a week for work.

This winter I purchased the RT and completely disassembled it and rebuilt it, minus new paint. I am doing the valve adjustment and then it should be ready. I am still waiting to take it on a big ride. It looks like the first 'big' ride will be Wright-Patterson in early July followed by Oshkosh in late July and Denver in late August. In September, I might do a loop of Lake Michigan.

sounds like a cool ride - you shouldn't have to look to hard around here to find a wing man if you want one

I am pretty stoked for all of the rides. Wright-Patterson will be by myself, unless I find someone else to go along. Oshkosh will be with my dad. That alone is cool enough. I am also kind of an aviation geek.

The Michigan trip is the one I am having trouble getting going. I might push it to next year. I don't have tons of vacation so its gonna be rough. No interstates and 5 days on the road.

Man, I wish. I tried to beg my way into the Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot. Poor vision and a cancer scare kept me out. I tried to get in after 9/11...still no dice. I guess I'll need to get rich and buy myself a nice little toy like this.

I haven't been to Wright-Patt since boy scouts about 15 years ago. I was told it is tons bigger now.
