Just above Richmond is the highest elevation in Indiana. Some call it Hoosier Hill. Looks like 37 miles out of the way, though.

You got that right. I rode Section F track of the Northern Tour de Corn yesterday. Everything North of US 36. One mile of gravel is all there is. There is a bridge out just East of SR 1. Just head South to US 35, then East ,then North up the East side of creek to get you to Waypoint F19. Little town of Saratoga between F5 and F4 has a convenience store just North of the Church here. No pre-pay! Was open at noon on a Sunday. Phone is 765.584.2041

Stopped at F0 to look at rain to the West and decided to high tail it home. Went North and headed West on 1000N(Randolph and Jay county line road?).
I rode this due West for 17 miles. 75% was gravel.

If the weather holds, I will report on Section E soon.

I thought I read somewhere that alpiv was going to try to run the Southern Tour de Corn yet this year. But I can't find his post. Sounds like you fellas had a good turnout for the Halloween ride.

On Saturday, I rode Section E of the Northern Tour de Corn. There were a couple of nice stretches of gravel. Near Berne, IN, I realized the homes didn't have any 'tricity lines going up to them. Quite a large area of Amish or German Baptist living in the area. Road apples everywhere! Another nice area is in Pleasant Mills Waypoint E21.
