It was suggested by jwolf that the Indiana crowd work together to compose a route of some of the best Indiana has to offer..

I started off with a base route that encircles Indiana and broke it into two section Northern & Southern.

Well, since I'm a geek (software geek) I figured we needed a way for those who wish to participate to check out the files, make their changes and check the files back in without over writing others changes..

There is software out there called version control, so that as you check in your changes, the file versioned..

    I started a project:
    https://tour-de-maize.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/tour-de-maize
You will have to create an account.... I know, yet another account.....

    Wait!!!
You can view the files by going to the url above, yet that's it...

    Download and Install
    TortoiseSVN

this is software that allows you to checkout and checkin your changes.

    Simple to use...

Once downloaded, you're off and running...

Let me know if you want to contribute..... That way I can keep track of who's doing what....

Thanks to opjocephus I will keep these updated via google Maps for your viewing pleasure as the route develops over time...

Great idea! I live in Louisville and do a lot of riding in your fine state. If you will accept foreigners I will try to help out a little as time permits.
