I'd love to come to this but I'm heading up north to cut more trails for the Halloween Ride.

What time are kickstands up on saturday?? I'm still on the fence about this ride or hit interlake. I'll have a 5 year old on the gas tank and Amy on her 125. The kiddo and I can hang but Amy......I told her 90 miles and she says she's up for it. She's had that bike since January and maybe put 60 miles on it.

    10am is kick stands up.
Regardless of the size of the group, there will be a lead rider and a sweep rider....
Ride your pace and enjoy the country side.....

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question, but I'll ask anyway:

Is there anywhere nearby where one might be able to purchase and consume breakfast (and some coffee) on a Saturday morning?

Nearest place would be Johnnys junxion on hwy. 37. Not sure about REAL breakfast there though. Maybe a breakfast burrito and microwave.:huh Coffee yes. Lots of fast food in Bedford about 10 min. south of there.

When ever I travel through the fine town of Bedford I usually hit the Golden Corral breakfast buffet. It's not your typical Golden Colon they have some good food up there........and I'm a buffet kinda guy:lol3

This was a fun day and you guys did a great job. I would liked to have ridden both days but I have to go on this darn vacation. Here are a few pictures from today.

So Amy's little 125 couldn't quite hang with the big bikes but we had a BLAST anyway!! The 4 wheeler crowd was a great group. We did 90 miles in just under 7 hours. Amy now has an intimate understanding of the term "monkey butt".:lol3 She gained a lot of experience.

    1st break

About midway lunch stop. I didn't get any actual riding shots dammit!!!

We came upon this outdoor art gallery in a yard WAY out in the boonies. The artist was kind enough to invite us on the property for a look around and told us a bit about how he made them. I LOVED this stuff.

As you can see, Amy was in awe.:eek1
    [IMG]

    Hey they're SPOOOONS!:lol3
    [IMG]

I think the artist removed his tinfoil hat just before we arrived.

So ya, she survived. 7 hours in the saddle is pretty impressive for a rookie I think. I know my butt was sore. Jett fell asleep on the handlebars for about 20 minutes too.
Thanks Al P. and gang for putting this on. Was a good one! I'm sure tomorrow will be a good one as well.:freaky

I had a fantastic day as well. Really, really good ride. We took some of the trails around the property after the ride, and those were good too. Fun fun day!

Great ride! I had really good time, as I am sure everyone else did. Only a couple minor malfunctions (kickstand switch and carb). My nose is still a little sore, maybe next time I won't get stung in the first half hour. No one got lost, and no one ran over any bicycles. Looking forward to next time.

I managed to get a couple of honey bees in my helmet after your incident. Luckily I was also able to get them OUT before getting stung!

    Great meeting you.

Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves...
That's the main reason for doing these things...
Talked to the ATV group who were out on the same route and they enjoyed themselves just as much!!!!

We are already planning for next year.......

    Even bigger, even better.....

Thanks again for all those who came and enjoyed the event....
BTW, I may use some of these photos in the next edition of Abates mag....

I can say this cause I know he's on the West coast....
My ride had much more variety, no one got lost and we even got to compete in the Hilly 100 too.....
