Hey guys, LONG time lurker on here, long story short I've been waiting for years to pick up a bike. I finally have a DR650!:clap

I'm a new rider but I'm looking to get out and about! I live in the 91/Pierce Area of Riverside, I have odd hours and days off but I'd love to get out!

Welcome. I'm in San Bernardino/Highland. Feel free to shoot me a pm if you want to go hit some trails. I know a ton of them around here. Everything from mild to wild.

Awesome, I'll keep in touch. I work as a 911 dispatcher and my days off are well.... Erratic. I'd love to find some people who occasionally ride mid week... Might be a hard task. I'm off Monday and Tuesday this week though if any one wants to go out

I'm putting together a dual sport ride on Tues 16 June starting from I-15 and Hwy 138 to Big Bear and back. When I get it finalized I'll post it up. It will be aprox 150 miles on both pavement and dirt roads. I did this last month and we had 10 riders go. I'm liking these mid-week rides when there is less traffic on the mountain trails.

Sounds good guys. I went for a short jaunt in Lytle Creek today but it was really torn up on the trail I went on (Middle Fork)

My days off are Fri, Sat, and Sun. I'm always down for a trail ride, especially stuff on the east end of the SBNF, where the quads and UTV's aren't allowed, lol.

I'm off every Fri Sat Sun. I live on the Apple Valley side of the San Bernardino Mountains and foothills. If I ride SBNF I prefer east side as well. I've ridden in the area north of Little Pine Flat, east and west of 3N14 for 35 years.

Lots of great trails to ride with dirt starting 10 minutes from my place.

Hit me up you want to ride. I only have Sunday open this week but next weekend is wide open.

That's a great ride from Cleghorn off ramp 15 freeway over the hill towards Big Bear. May be challenging for a newbie on a DR650, but nothing outrageous.

I can ride late today/ evening till dark or after or early tomorrow morning to beat the heat.

I'm thinking of riding roads/ trails in south Apple Valley Foothills.

Pvt Joker and I met up and hit some nice SSS, and some technical sandy/rocky stuff. Managed to bury my bike past the swingarm in sand, he he. Good times.
