I'm installing the K1 on my '15 BMW GSA and in looking for a relatively
dry place to put the DVR, I'm considering the tank compartment and
hoping that there isn't too much heat build up.
I'm about to take the Dremel tool and cut a slot to the left to pass the
    wires through.
    Any thoughts on this?
Also going to stick the GPS/Speaker in under the left tank panel an hope
    it will receive the signal.

I understand but the speaker is not waterproof and I ride in the rain often.

    I'm stuck on the wiring.....
I have a PDM60 so I will connect the RED wire to one of the switched leads on it.
The BLACK will go to battery negative -
Where is the YELLOW supposed to go? There is no in-line fuse and I don't see it on the wiring diagram.

Finally found the answer to my question in post #280
"Regarding power connection, we just developed new DC 12V converter, the USB port was replaced to be micro USB pug, at input side, a yellow wire is added to connect the switched power source on bike, that is to trigger the power supply from bike to camera system, red and black wires are to connect to the battery directly, that is to get stable and reliable power supply."

So the RED and BLACK will go directly to the battery and the YELLOW will go to the switched PDM60.
    Correct?

Yes, that way works, you also can have red + yellow jointed to the out put of PDM 60.

I have had a lot of problems with mine. 2 yrs old, never worked reliably. I think the biggest issue now is the endless "recording stopped" loop it goes into.
I suspect it's due to power switching during boot up - it really hates that. Any tips on powering and power interruptions when cranking the bike?

Everything is installed now and ready to configure settings and camera rotations......
Is there a really good video or file that I can use to guide me through all the settings
    and explain the features
    .
Sorry, I know it's easy for you, but I'm not very experienced with cameras.
I can't seem to get the camera to rotate around all the way to where it's correct. Is
there a limit and I need to rotate it on the mount?
Also, back to my previous post about wiring to the PDM60, I wired the RED to it
and programed the PDM60 for constant power. The
    YELLOW is switched to power
    on/off with ignition.
    Thanks
    Mike

Can you let us know more details about the issue? Just sent the message to info@innovv.com, our guys will support you.

Recording stoped, may caused by SD card, unreliable connection, unstalbe pwoer supply and interference.

Will work together with you to get the solution.

The wring is correct, and can you get the camera system to record after turn ignition on?

You can download the setting menu from below link, at the bottom of the page.
    http://www.innovv.com/the-k1-cm4l

You can find video flip from the setting, and the videos can be flip 180 degree.

If have further question, please let me know.

I also have a '15 GSA. I put the recorder on the right, behind the fuse box cover. It stayed dry on commutes in all kinds of weather. I'll make some pics if you want.

Thanks for the offer, all set. Now learning the setup, the instructions are not as clear as I'd
like them to be. I can't get the cameras to rotate for one thing. Also I don't know the camera
    terminology.

Thanks Jim, He installed INNOVV K1 motorcycle camera on his 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere, and shared below catching.

You can see how rear camera watches what happens behind you.

I have had the same issue. I have about given up. When I contacted tech support the answer right away was the SD card. I bought the recommended card and it does the same thing. At first I found that I had a heat issue since I had placed the DVR under my seat on my Buell and the heat gave it fits.

I then moved it onto a RAM mount on the bars, spent $45 trying to find a cable to extend the front camera cable so I could use it for the rear camera and used the rear for the front. The unit ONLY works if I turn on power, hold my tongue a certain way, don't start the bike and wiggle the cables until it starts to work. I really wanted this to work, especially due to how bad the drivers in the NORVA,DC Maryland area are.

The unit also needs some way to be weather resistant for daily use. $300 out the door. Glad to see some folks received units that work as advertised. It has soured my taste so bad that the unit I was going to buy for the car will be a different system completely.
