What size bolts are required for the camera mounting holes?

Each aluminum billet lens housing has three industry-standard ΒΌ-20 threaded holes on the top, left and right sides

Two L shape brackets with washers and spring plate, bolts included in the package. Bracket-1.jpg Bracket-2.jpg

I ride a GS Adv in all weather and I just got a K1 kit for Christmas. So now I'm looking for a way to mount the recorder in a waterproof box such as a Pelican case. I was thinking that I could use some waterproof cable glands mounted to the Pelican case but I'm having trouble finding glands that will pass the micro USB plug and still tighten down on the cable.
    Any suggestions?

Good to see to make a Pelican case for DVR, but need to think about heating, DVR generates heat during recording.

Is the heat high enough to be problematic?

I just installed the camera system on a R1200GS. Pretty straightforward. Note that the camera must be mounted in one of two orientations... the cable be up or down. It cannot be mounted sideways, regardless of the mounting holes on the sides.

    Here's a detailed review I found online.

I really like the K1 Camera. I have been looking for a system like this for a long time. I use it to monitor the group that I ride with for training purposes. I have a couple of picture of my mounted positions.

Thank you for sharing, the installation is great. What bike do you have? and do you have photo after installation?
