^^^ Yes, I'd logged you as way north of here but this was the 1st mention I recall of a new location.

I always liked it down that corner, and I hope you do too :1drink

Well, as long as there was no collateral damage to the innocent passerby, I suppose all is well and normal in the Village. Blunt facts can leave strange colored bruises.

Imagine I posted it another X times & you liked each one :-D
It's been suggested by a local who independently found the vid (how?) that I ought to be ousted & tar/feathered for wanting to destroy the place.

Peeple got no sense o' humour :1drink

Nor do they understand the processes of system-build low res chroma key test renders.

Or that in future renditions the explosions may simply be replaced with arses to increase factuality.
    Aye. It's a long tradition:

Carried out in this case by what are reported to be pro-hunt protestors? Signs visible at the end seem to indicate concerns around farming wages? Will they get better with purely internal national support?

    What do I know? :1drink

"The men met for a pint at the Birdcage in mid-December ... Their eyes alighted on an advertising billboard across the road. Within a few days, they had ordered five billboard posters, each in 12 sections: tweets and quotes from Cameron, Michael Gove, Liam Fox, John Redwood and David Davis. ... In January, the first poster went up on “borrowed space” in Stoke Newington ... The group had invested in hi-vis jackets (in the hope of looking legitimate), a ladder, buckets and wallpaper paste ... Just calling yo'self an Artist doesn't make it so.
    A positional statement:

There's those that can & are & do; and those that learn to become thru/ough application to be nearly but not quite, but make the most of what they have; and those that aren't that know it but still do it & enjoy it; and those that aren't but insist they are but patently aren't & never can be.

Just saying that you are doesn't make you it.

Yesterday, whilst in brief contact with TV, in passing we watched a property developer, on a property development prog, stating his profession as Artist. A few brief shots of his work were edited in, and they didn't look all that to me.

This last 'judgement' is of course inarguably entirely subjective. But it all plays into a prejudice of mine, which is (of course) based on my own self image. We perhaps only see in others what we are ourselves? This meaning that whilst I got sidetracked into a 3 decades of music, I have never produced anything which could be considered to contain actual musicality by any proper measure.

    I'm ok with that.

There are a few illustrative examples I could drag out to expand the point, and 'justify' my posit. But instead let's take a sidestep: Gilles Villeneuve, or Ayrton, or Lewis might be actually fast by dint of innate/inherent speed. Damon Hill might describe himself as having learnt to be very near to fast, and on occasion actually fast, but in the end he saw himself as 'working at it'. Clay Regazzoni might have come to realise he may not be ultimately fast, but he was going to live it still. Andrea de Cesaris or Jarno Trulli may have seemed fast in their own eyes, and thought of themselves as 'thus', but they never really had it.

Each group could be expanded within the sphere of F1, or the base context could be swapped to another sport or indeed any other activity.

For example, the act of being Mr Luvva-Luvva :-D

Just because you say it doesn't make it so...

Ah, well, I was just keeping up with the flow of traffic. And without his knowledge or authorisation I swapped out my engine for the ported/flowed, induction coned, mufflersilencexhauster res-length tuned, sports cam souped up unit from DBD's Kaff Racer.

    I don't think he noticed...

NB: 'Mien' & 'Frisson' are the words of the week btw.

It has eventuated* that I have an extra day or so 'spare' to work at the fault chasing 'Lectric reconfig, so I alzo have an extra day of play for the change to be remediated should things go in the wrong direction.

Which they may. Not being negatoid as in 'praying for the unhappy', but I do done got to know my limits, eh? We'll see.

    ed PICT0001.jpg
Note spare clutch cable @ the ready.

Well, see all that (non-pro-mech) mess under the top tube/above the Endjin?** It's getting beyond (the beyond of) the point where I'm making as to dig into the slightly hevvyer stuff to try & find this fault state trigger before the thing really flips out & leaves me roadside in the (comparative) a$$ end of nether-nowhere (see last vid above).

Thing is not to change too much at once. If I do solve the Ign Dropout issue (posts passim) I for sure need to know what/how/where, no?

1st thing (as discussed with my Consultant Engineer [i.e. 'pet F1 tech-mech' :-D {Igor/Obelix/Watson}] @ the T-Hut today) iswas to flip the coil stack around 180°, to get the (as pic'd) forward run out of contact with the start cover scoop (see above on zoom). And to allow a better line of the wires from the Boyer Blue to the coil stack.

It'll fit (better) that way so why not, plus I may 'jog' the issue away in the process without specifically knowing?

2nd thing would have been (as discussed [see above]) to have a another look at the (extensive) wire stub damage on the old Red Boyer box to see if it could be semi-salvaged & temp test-refitted, as the ign issue only began presenting after the swap to the new Blue unit.

On the other hand I didn't do that many miles with the M-Unit & Red Box, so the non-presentation of issue pre-swap may have been coincidental. Such can't be excluded, Watson.

But then having rotated the coil stack I noted they state 'only for use with blue box' on their sticker, so out goes that option, huh?...

Zo the 2nd task will be to wrap the frame spine & wiring in a rubber mesh mat I picked up for £1 quid pound, to diminish any (unlikely) wire/tank contact & snug it all up. But I won't try that until I've road tested todays changes for min 25 or 30 miles 2morr.

Broadly, one change at a time eh? Anywah, it might be a wiring/frame inter-facialisation, so outer wrap wouldn't help/would make worse?

Still, I've a nagging feeling the issue may eventually reside in the (unrefurbished/now tired) charge warning light assembly ably fitted by Sir Lozzz of Stone, which hasn't been looked inside since it was zipped up some 3 or so yrs back, and was simply recycled in the recent rebuild. Hmmmmm.

Or like I say it could just be a faulty kill sw, which could be tested by looping it out, if I could remember the relevant colours between 'seeing' the diagram on this screen & arrival @ the Motosickle? (memory keeps flushing).

Could be anything until I find it. My bluntly unbeloving (to my take) Mater used to frequently ask "Why is what you're looking for always in the last place you look?".

She wasn't wrong, but why would you carry on looking? She may be asking that question now. I wouldn't know.

PS: I'm going to have all ov mine'd teeth replaced with a full grille fabricated @ >TEAM REDACTED< F1 in >LOCATION REDACTED< (TBC) :lol3 May need extra extra Rum during extraction/fitting, but if a pre-surgery tot was good enough for Nelsons' Navy it's good enuff for moderne New Brittan (or as I would generally say - the Former United Commonwealth Kingdoms).

    * Interestink - spellcheck doesn't redwave line that one...
** That's what comes of having fabricated the loom off the Motosickle because I can't have it off the road.

NB: Bike back together & starts. Not run for more than 30 sec so as not to knerble neybores. Test 2morr.

Oh, the tension & jeopardy :1drink
