    I did not know where to put this, but I thought I should share this interview with everyone. We had a chance to talk to Sam while riding the MHCT last weekend. Interesting guy, wish I had more pics.

    A big thanks to Sam for allowing all of us to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The cost of the maps is truly a small price to pay for the adventure of a lifetime. To all of you out there on the fence--get the maps and do the ride. You will never forget it. And take Sams advice to use the roll charts and a resettable odometer. As he states, they are spot on.
    Yeah, it's ok to take the GPS to use as a backup.

    Thanks for sharing that interview. I did TN to CO and will due the Western states as soon as time and budget allows.
