    Damn good looking bike Rollin!

All I can think of is what my uncle used to say ... that there's for sure a grin-wagon! :ricky

I was going to try to buy a bike that wasn't black this time, the last 6 have been black.
When I went to the dealer it was to look at one that was "Scorched Orange". That one had been sold so it was back to black...again.

I'm betting that *might* be sufficient (with a bit of farkling, naturally...) for the Haul Road!

    Congrats on the new bike!

    Should make it.
Just need some extra gasoline and I might be able to put a mud/snow car tire on the front and rear, there's enough space to do it. :lol3

Great looking new bike, Rollin'. I've really enjoyed your riding posts over the years.

Keep enjoying the miles whether they're one, or 1500, or somewhere in between.

The new bike is Awesome Steve. If I were buying a new bike for day trips that one would be on my short list for sure. You'll enjoy it no doubt!

Thank you! Hoping it warms up soon so I can take it on a little longer ride, still had light snow this morning.

I showed my wife a photo of the new bike and she said "Its nice, don't let Steve see that". Interesting that she would still know its a bike I would like but not who I was.

You Definitely have good taste, and bought the fastest color. Nice. I rode the live wire at the Chicago motorcycle show but it was on the rollers. The demo dude ask me what I thought. Ummm it’s ok but I could better tell you if you let me ride it . He would have none of that!!!

You triggered me to knock off a loop. 281 miles mostly Ca. foothills. It was hot. High 90s all day. The big loops, 400 miles + don’t start until the Sierra passes open up. Hopefully in a week or two.

Just a little off topic. Tonight I watched a DVD I have about the early days of Bonneville but to me the real story is man and machine and raising the bar, doing things that that no one or very few have done.
I checked YouTube to see if it was on there and it was.
One of my favorite movies - The Boys of Bonneville.

My heart hurts for you man, I've experienced a little of that second hand and it wasn't fun to watch. I can only imagine what it must take to endure it and stay positive. You're a good man for staying the course.

All day, everyday, delusions and hallucinations. People under the bed, little people running down the hallway, everyday she wakes up and to her its a different place with different people. Some days its funny and other days not so much. She also lost the ability to walk.

To stay a little on topic, a message from the future for the younger riders...if you have a chance to do something you want to do, do it. Something I hear a lot is "I'm going to do that when I retire". Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't, never know what will happen later.

Don't like the troubles youre having, but I do like the advice you give.
I watched my Grandmother go through what you have described. It takes a special person to do what youre doing.
