They had a sale with 15% off, then 20% off for no VAT, 100€ shipping. GST on the cases/racks. All done, $1500. The importer via the states would have been $1500 USD, then gst after the exchange rate.

Tank bag. Took 3 days from arriving in Vancouver to delivery in Calgary. Not bad time wise but CP did get me for GST, duty, and a $9.92 "handling fee". Sure is hit and miss with regard to collecting monies with CP.

Step daughter shipped a decent sized package to Australia, took 17 days, which I figure was pretty decent

I’ve been waiting for crash bars from eBay for 6 weeks.
Tracking says they’ve arrived at the border. USPS to Canada post.

Anything I’ve purchased from the States has been dinged for taxes and duty ....every time, and the delivery times have been very long even though shipping has been from Oregon and Cali.

I think the loop hole that existed in CP that did not collect duty and taxes has gradually been closed down over the last couple of years.

Can't say that I share that experience. Can't even remember last time I had to pay taxes and/or duty on something shipped from the US.

That's been my experience too; rarely get dinged on tax when coming through Canada Post. Of course in Alberta it's only 5%

That is unfortunate but at least it appears to be well made.

I have shipped over 250 packages to the US thru Canada post since March and not a single one got lost.

March and April were bad months for shipping time. Since May I have maybe 2 packages that took more than 2/2.5 weeks to make it to their destination in the US. 75% of packages arrive withing 7 days.

The holdup is usualy in the US at the international package hub.

I just tracked 3 pakcages I shipped 10 days ago and they are moving very slowly. I think the bottleneck is bad between now and Xmass.
