    Based on the wear, a putty knife should do the job, that thing looks to have been pretty soft.

    Why do electric bikes run the small sprockets?

    Maybe that is the front?

    Our local PD has electric bikes. They run HUGE rear sprockets.

    Saw a pic of a rear sprocket once, it was worn down to where the lightening holes around the middle were acting on the chain. They had worn down to where it stated shaping them too teeth about halfway through these holes.Must have acted like a slipper clutch for months till these sharp bits would catch the chain.Amasing cost saving.

    My son rides electric bikes kuberg and OSETS. Tiny front sprocket huge rear sprocket. They are Built just like his mother!
