They can be had for mid five figures. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1994-lancia-delta-integrale-evo-2/ Yeah, a new STi is cheaper and will outperform it in every single measurable aspect. Except the Evo won't depreciate like the STi.
Just so happens that that same car, actually a BMW 327, was at an open house of a local restorer the next week, so yes I do. I was told the original engine, a 2.0L straight six, was replaced some time ago by a '50's period 3.2L BMW V-8, perhaps from a 507. I was also told the brakes and suspension are marginal for the speed it is now capable of. Nevertheless, it is a beauty!
Here’s another beauty from the Pittsburgh vintage grand prix couple years ago when BMW was the featured marque.
Apologies for requesting a German car in the Italian thread. When I was a wild ass teenager in Mississippi (of all places) in the 60's, one of my buddies' worthless Dad had a cabriolet BMW like this in his carport. I have no idea how he came into possession of it. I never remember him driving it, but it was complete and unrestored. German silver not a two tone like your example. And yes it did have a straight six with Solex carburetors and his had steel disc wheels but they were knock-offs like in your black example. I remember loving the flowing art deco lines, the huge gauges, and the smell of the red leather. Thanks for reviving these memories.
Ask your buddy if he still has his dad’s worthless clunker in a shed somewhere? I’m inquiring for a friend. He says he needs a parts car to cannibalize.
had to look that Dallara up, wasnt aware they were badging cars as their own now! here is an article on some other stuff they have made: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/supercars/six-things-you-never-knew-dallara-did no mention of so many others, a couple of more notables being the Ferrari 333SP & Audi R8 pininfarina has a stunning e.supercar badged as their own now too: https://www.automobili-pininfarina....first-pure-electric-luxury-hyper-gt-revealed/

That is one nasty PoS. A quarter million miles at least (odo is broken, among other things,) and its in "good condition?" $950?
This is a mini, but a CKD "assembled in Italy" version. The build job was done by Innocenti, the Lambretta people. For a while, they were imported back into UK. Usually the higher spec and with a few extras to put some distance and justify the higher price. All the ones I remember had little bumperettes as an immediate give away - no English market ones had them as standard (maybe the Wolseley/Riley variants did?). Trim was noticeably more upmarket too.
I'm not 100% sure what that is, besides being a Ferrari (maybe, can't make out the hood badge well enough), but I'm pretty sure I can get by with one kidney and would happily trade the smaller of the two I have for that beauty. Feel free to pass that along to the owner.
