When people ask me where I live, I tell them E-5.
Driving home today, I saw a broken milk crate in the median. My first thought was to look to see if there was a KLR that had crashed nearby.

As funny as that might seem, I'm not making it up, that's what actually went through my brain.

So, thanks all YFFs for making me look at the world in a different way...

It has been a very long time since a forum post made me belly-laugh.

    Thanks.

I'm with you. My wife often rolls her eyes as I take time to take photos for the Asshole Parking, WTF, and other threads.

I've been down in the basement t so much I don't know if it's possible to get a serious answer on adv. But here goes

How did the klr get to the butt of all the jokes?

(I've had one for about a month, but still don't have a milk crate)

It's a jack of all trades bike that doesn't do anything great, but is a good value and practical. As such, people who like them typically make the same choices in gear and accessories.
For the most part the jokes are actually good natured and self deprecating. Really, who's the wiser, the person who spends $450 for a top case, or the person who uses a free milk crate and a few zip ties to accomplish the same thing?

I have one of those big plastic tubs with a fold over lid used for moving. Would that work? Bonus if you're a UW Huskie fan. It's purple.
