Flattery will get you a long way, Brett, but you were by far the most interesting person around here during your visit!

As others who've hosted the lad, just met him for a few minutes or only read him here know, our travelin' man from the flatlands is muy especial. So's his reporting, and riding Everywhere's a tough act to follow. 'Looking forward to his return-to-Ombabica report, and the homecoming, the promised finale ~ also to reading about his Next Thing, which he's kept a mystery. I guess we've gotta be patient; he said he be starting a new job this month, a good reason for a pause.

I reckon it'll be worth the wait.

I have no interest in NFL football, but I find myself watching the AFC playoff game, scanning the crowd and cheering for KC

I’m a huge Steelers fan (being from Pittsburgh) but I’m rooting big time for the Chiefs because of you Brett. What a game!!!! Hope you guys win the Super Bowl. The way you’re playing today - should be a breeze

I thought of Brett today, first when it was 21-0 Houston and then when KC scored on 6 straight possessions - or was it 7?

Gotta be the 1st RR where there was a shock replacement and a deep teeth cleaning of the pilot all in one stop. shocking!

My GF is also a big Steelers fan, but the Chiefs have long been her “backup” team. She’s building some feelings for the Titans though simply because they knocked both the Pats AND Ravens out of the playoffs.

I believe it was 8 straight possessions, 7straight TDs and a FG, and might have been 5 unanswered TDs....something like that. 3 TD in under 4.5min. I was at work and was only able to listen occasionally on the radio. After the first quarter, I was glad I didn't take the day off. At half time, I knew I was missing an incredible game.

I too hope Brett was able to make it to the game. I'm sure it was quite a spectacle to be at Arrowhead yesterday.

Well, I love your girlfriend LOL She is absolutely correct about the Titans, however. I love any team that brings Baby Brady to tears!! And the Ravens are a huge rival so getting them out of there is great! BUT, go Chiefs!!!

Hmmmm… Mizzou handle, 'Go Chiefs', and on AdvRider - we have to connect some time on the road or for a ride! Brett, sometimes a person needs a place to go mentally that is positive, filled with adventure, and encouraging of learning new cultures and you delivered that for me today in a way that words cannot express. Thank you!

I can remember him saying that his huge top box was usually half empty and used more as a storage locker to lock up his stuff when he was away from the bike. Other than that, not too much. I wouldn't mind hearing his thoughts about pros, cons and lessons learned regarding packing, gear, etc. as a wrap up.

I remember he had to rebuild his homemade pannier racks at one point. Oh and the “frunk” on the Honda made frequent appearance as a good snuggling opportunity in border crossings.

Bret covered the entire build out of his luggage along with comments of why he did certain things at the start of the report. If not covered there then on his blog at www.everywhereman.me.
