I still check this thread everyday (some say I am not right, although I promise I am not crazy). Yes I am aware I can get e-mail notification if something is posted, but what fun is that
Brett must be loving his Chiefs 14-1 season
Here's to hoping Brett and family had a wholesome 2020 and all is well with their health, spirit, and sanity.
Kinda like this back on page 133?
It’s gotta be a woman that made him vanish!
BarryB, You could be right! But I would like to know where she buried his body.
Bret's just following in the footsteps of the Greats like J. Carson....When he left....he vanished from public life!
GO BROWNS! Sorry Brett
If he is monitoring, that ought to get a rise out of him!!
Well, Brett is happy today.
I hope Brett celebrated this morning, because of the KC win, with some of his renowned Swedish egg coffee and Swedish pancakes!
Sorry about the SuperBowl, Brett...
Did the Kaiser chiefs win?
Apparently they got thwacked
Swashbuckled would be how I'd put it....
Been with you since post #1. Glad you made it home safely. Sorry about your Dad (been there). I'm a Washington Football fan so no love for the Chiefs. I'd love to see a conclusion, but that is your story to finish or not. Either way, I enjoyed every post!
If things go as planned (that's a big "if" lately) then I'll be hanging out with Brett again in a couple weeks. He's still alive and kicking and actually got to go on a vacation to Hawaii and rented a bike while there so he's now officially ridden in all 50 states. I'll leave out the details of life and such because they aren't mine to give, but the important thing to know is that Brett is still around.
WYO George...thanks fer update!..Great that Brett got to Vac. on the big rocks! I'm sure he'll conclude things on his own sweet time...His rodeo!
My travel plans worked out so that it was only a three hour detour to see my friend Brett so today My brother and I were fortunate enough to spend four hours with Brett and his mom. We had a delicious lunch of various Swedish dishes along with the famous Swedish egg coffee (I’m a fan) and some wonderful conversation. Unfortunately we still had a lot of riding to do so we couldn’t stay any longer.
Brett hasn’t forgotten the last chapter, in fact it’s quite the opposite. There’s a lot going on and it’s quite the story and unfortunately writer’s block is keeping him from being happy with his drafts. Rather than just toss it out there he’s taken breaks and reattempted a few times. When things are right he’ll get it finished up and he emphasized that he’s ever so grateful to everyone who has followed his journey.
Greetings from Nebraska
Great pic, and thanks for the update. It’ll be great when it’s done.
