Quick question -- One of my cam locks is somewhat looser than the other three. How do I tighten it up?

First, pull off the bag. Then with the cam lock unlocked, pull off the rubber grommet. Hold the latch on the inside of the bag with a crescent wrench so it doesn't slip.

Turn the locking nut, which is abbutted to the plunger, clockwise (toward the bag). Then turn the plunger clockwise till it is snug against the locknut. Stick the rubber grommet back on, and try it out. It might take a few tries to get the tension just right.

This is if you want to tighten the cam.

Just loosen the locknut cw and turn the plunger ccw, and tighten locknut against the plunger if you need to loosen the cam.

Thanks to the GS Newsgroup for this info.
