An interesting note for everyone, but sure if they are mad or what. Jessie James (West Coast Choppers) just flew up his BMW R1200 so another guy in Inuvik decided to do the same. But first he had to buy the R1200GSA. They plan to drive on the ice to Aklavik or Tuktoyatuk with them. Ice roads are not open yet. Present temperature for the last few days -32C to -26C.

methinks it's got to do with a new TV show he's doing, called Jesse James is a Dead Man. (or something like that) I think it's gona be on Spike. Or one of those cable channels that I don't get.....

Have you seen the tat on his hand? Something like "pay up sucka". He's no fool. There's a market for this stuff.
It wont be long before we see Lorenzo Lamas, Kid Rock and Indian Larry doing the ice. Oh, wait a minute, Indian Larry is already on ice. But you get the idea.

A buddy of mine Mike Darby is filming them from the helicopter, he shot yesterday and is doing more today.
He phoned me for some tech advice from Inuvik, the line was 20% dead but must have been his cell maybe.
    wish I was there ! ( he did too ... haha )

    -31C today I believe ........ brrrrr ! :vardy

    Yup, no support vehicles there!

This Jesse guy will probably have a million dollars worth of support at his disposal.

    Paul didn't.

He was talking to me about driving the ice roads in Yellowknife (on 18 wheels, not 2!) but I haven't heard from him in a few months.

    I've done the drive a couple times and it's roughly a 2 hour drive @ 55mph. It's a neat drive for sure
