Dapman and I will be camped at Tannacross for the MDay weekend. Dirt bike action.
We will be taking his truck from Tannacross to the build site on Sunday and back to Tannacross that evening.
I hope a few others will join us.
Plenty of camping room plus car races that weekend. PM me if interested. Fite

    This just in.
Dapman, Ace, Rox, and I planted the new tree last week at Eagle Summit.
Tons of work but we got it done.
Official dedication will be on Saturday, June 17.
    Shooting for 1:00.
Hope to see all of you there.
More info will be shared at Friday's banquet.

Love it. Me and a couple friends rode to Eagle last year after D2D looking for the tree but couldn't find it. Glad you guys put up the monument.

Thanks to Justin Kleiter noticing a comment in the Trails End Facebook page... Dena Coleman, Jim Coleman's daughter was trying to locate those responsible for this monument being installed. She was in Eagle, trying to locate Jim's tree when she spotted this on the side of the hill and went to investigate. It absolutely floored her that we built something so incredibly beautiful to honor her father and the other riders we have lost over the years. I spoke with her for about 15 minutes on Fri. Aug 23rd, and by that time she had traveled from the hotel she was staying at in Eagle to the monument 3 times and spent quite some time there. She was planning on returning again on Sat. to spend more time. She broke down on the phone while thanking me and us over and over again... it had been 17 years since she was at the tree, she was praying that it hadn't been consumed by fire. She was sad to see it on the ground next to the monument, but believes the monument is more than a fitting tribute. She hopes to ride her bike up here soon and experience riding to the tree with the group.

Well done folks... Thanks again to all who contributed to making this happen, whether it was time, labor or monetary, it couldn't have happened without your help!
