Thanks. That's what I was thinking when I started this meager little thread.

I'd just like to give the thieving bastards a little dose of their own medicine.

Well since we are getting into fantasy here, how about trying the flu excuse? Simply leave your face shield down and tell them you have El Gripe Porcina. I am sure they will leave you alone :eek1

I really dont have any good ones and I'm not smart enough to pull off an act so I have to carry around a bunch of porn and cigarettes.

With that said, I have never been in a situation where porn and cigarettes couldnt help me out. :strum

I went the wrong way down a one way street in Tamazunchale. When I realized what was happening I cut off on a side street which unfortunately was a dead end.

I turned the bike around and there in front of me was a traffic cop with his ticket book.

In a variation of no fumar espagnol I gave the deer in the headlights look to everything he said and protested with I'm lost, I'm lost. I pulled out my Guija Roja map book and started pointing to the next town. He muttered some directions, Izquierda here derecha there.

He looked so sad he couldn't give me a ticket. Can't remember if he was armed or not.

As backup in the future I'll pack some cigarettes with my porn

    Here ya go.

There are some restrictions as to exactly what you can order but I think you could get a pretty official looking "Leper Colony Inspector Badge":D

    Bob,

That's perfect. Looks like any kind of badge can be made. Do you suppose the cops will realize there's only one leper colony left in the world and it's in Africa?

Maybe "Chief H1N1 Inspector" or whatever the malady of the day happens to be in 2011 will work.

Thanks. I've got a year and a half to think this one through.

I'm actually starting to lean towards India and SE Asia instead of South America so I'll have to start looking into the corrupt cop issue in that part of the world.

You are hereby designated to design the official poster for next year's SALARR. Which means you will also have to attend.

    Great work.

Good job. In fact it's such a good job Bananaman and I have agreed to pay you twice the going ALARR rate. You can pick up your check at next year's rally. :deal

As flippant as they may sound, it's true. The unshaven-for-days look also seems to work.
