    I'm 40 now....
I figure with a five year warning my wife may actually let me go for 35 days...

Yeah, I bought a DR fork brace from him, I guess I need to check out the Wolfman stuff again. I remember when it first came out..

What a great story! I got a real chuckle from the picture of your breakfast with the omlet, hash browns and the beer. I hope you know beer is no longer consider just a breakfast drink!:1drink

Yeah, I got my centerstand from Eric. He sold me the centerstand from his own bike because he wasn't using it. Dual Star had them backordered because they were having some problem with fit and stopped production.

That was actually supper at the time, but there's nothing wrong with beer for breakfast. Especially here in Wisconsin.

Since all the lurkers are coming out in of the shadows in this thread, I guess I will too.

Great ride report snowrider. I hope to one day take a trip like yours.

One question though, did you ride through Monument Valley in Utah?

No. I passed lots of great stuff in Utah that I didn't know anything about at the time.

    Dude,

So Funny. I have had your original webpage bookmarked for a few years unders my "rats" page. I still have a certain affinity for cheap rat bikes. Remember the quote "bad motorcycles for bad people". I still have a couple of project bikes (in pieces of course) but my main ride now is a 04 Vstrom DL650. I have done an Ironbutt 1000 and a Saddlesore 1500 on the strom but I can hear Baja and Alaska calling me.

Very inspirational story. I think it was you that had a quote that said "I hope I never die doing less than a ton"

Yeah, that's what I said after my leg was crushed by a car during a rare instance in which I was doing the speed limit.
